The FIMPV strongly supports the new values of Portuguese creation and interpretation, without neglecting the effort to attract and educate new audiences through various complementary activities and parallel manifestations, serving the synergies resulting from regular initiatives carried out by all elements of the Póvoa de Varzim Pro-Music Association and other cultural entities of the city of Póvoa de Varzim.
CHARACTERIZATION
  • Multidisciplinary pedagogical project included, as Parallel Manifestations, in the programming of Póvoa de Varzim International Music Festival (FIMPV).
OBJECTIVES
  • Fidelize and renew the FIMPV public.
  • Encourage the cultural enrichment of the region.
  • Manage the creativity and generosity of young students for execution and sharing.
  • Provide young students with a reflection on the most important aesthetic and historical factors in the interpretation of musical works (opportunities to be part of the musical creation and visit different cultural spaces of the city with various exhibitions).
  • Sensitize young students to research, deepen, present and disseminate their knowledge of musical heritage.

Entries are free, except the exhibitions on the Municipal Museum.
