Began his musical studies at the age of eight with Suzanna Lidegran at the Conservatório de Música do Porto. In 1999 he was admitted to Artave (Escola Profissional Artística do Vale do Ave) in the class of the same pedagogue, concluding his graduation with distinction.
Completed his studies at Esmae (School of Performing Arts - Porto) with Dr. Radu Ungureanu where he finished his Degree in Instrument (Violin) with the maximum classification and the Master in Artistic Interpretation with an average of eighteen values.
In 2010 he won the first prize in the Helena Sá e Costa Competition in Esmae (Porto University), performing solo with the Orquestra Sinfonietta with the Violin Concerto no.1 in D Major, op.19, of S.Prokofiev with maestro Vytautas Lukocius. Recently participated in masterclasses in Aurora Chamber Music Festival (Sweden) working with Professor Stephan Piccard and directed by the prestigious maestro Kürt Masur. He is a member of Verazin Quartet since 2010, with which has performed several concerts in Portugal.
Recently completed an integrated masterclass at the Aurora Chamber Music Festival (Sweden) where he worked under the guidance of Professor Stephan Piccard and was directed by the prestigious master Kürt Masur.
